The Indian men's football team has hit a nine-year low, plummeting to it's worst FIFA ranking in nearly a decade after recent losses to Thailand and Hong Kong. This setback led to coach Manolo Marquez parting ways on mutual agreement and jeopardizes India's chances of qualifying for the 2027 Asian Cup.
