Maharashtra forms anti-ragging committees in medical colleges to tackle bullying, responds to 50 complaints

Maharashtra government is actively addressing ragging and child marriage. Anti-ragging committees are formed in medical colleges for regular reviews. The government received 50 ragging complaints through the National Anti-Ragging portal. No deaths are reported. In Beed district, 14 pregnancy cases due to child marriage are reported. Gram sevaks and anganwadi workers are appointed as anti-child marriage officers.
