Karun Nair earned his way into the India setup with a strong show in the domestic cricket circuit for Vidarbha and in England's County circuit. He also scored a double century in the warm-up match to return to India XI after eight years. India coach Gautam Gambhir stressed that is the ideal route to earn a spot in the Indian Test team.
