Before leading Tata Group, Ratan Tata's school days taught him valuable lessons. He felt embarrassed by his family's wealth. He preferred physics over chemistry, showing his inclination towards abstract thinking. School life included time at Campion, Cathedral & John Connon, Bishop Cotton, and Riverdale. He studied architecture at Cornell, despite his father's disapproval. Later, he attended Harvard Business School.
