Scientists at ICMR-NIE are conducting a community-based study in Punjab and Telangana to promote low-sodium salt substitutes and counseling. This initiative aims to reduce blood pressure and sodium consumption, addressing the alarmingly high salt intake exceeding WHO recommendations.
