Private chat recorded by spouse admissible as evidence, says Supreme Court
Postado
The Supreme Court has ruled that a secretly recorded private conversation between spouses is admissible as evidence in matrimonial disputes, clarifying it doesn't breach privacy rights. The court emphasized Section 122 of the Evidence Act protects marital communications but allows exceptions for fair trials. Modern technological advancements in recording also support the admissibility of such evidence.
