Trump admin's healthy push: Ice-cream to go dye-free; plant-based colours to be used instead

In a move hailed as a step towards healthier options, particularly for children, the US dairy industry has voluntarily agreed to remove synthetic dyes from ice cream products. US health secretary Robert F Kennedy Jr. noted the industry's positive response to eliminating harmful chemicals. Over 40 manufacturers have joined the agreement, with the FDA approving a natural alternative dye.
