A recent Intelligent.com survey found that 18% of US managers have considered quitting due to difficulties managing Gen Z employees, while 27% would avoid hiring them. Managers cited excessive phone use, poor work ethic, and unprofessional behaviour as key challenges. Many have altered their management styles to cope with these issues. The study highlights rising intergenerational tension and increased resource demands associated with Gen Z in the US workplace.
