New health rules in Dubai: Medical tests now required for visas, jobs, and driving licences
Posted
Starting late July 2025, Dubai will require medical tests for anyone applying for or renewing residence visas, work permits, or driving licences. The tests must be done at approved clinics and will screen for infectious diseases. The Dubai Health Authority will oversee implementation, and fines will apply for non-compliance. The move aims to improve public health and early disease detection.
