Canada: Small plane hijacked at Vancouver, flight services disrupted

Vancouver International Airport experienced a brief service disruption on Wednesday following reports of a hijacked Cessna 172. The RCMP received an alert that the aircraft, originating from Vancouver Island, was entering airspace near the airport. The incident prompted a temporary halt in flight services, with nine inbound flights diverted before the suspect was arrested upon landing.
