Canada visa: Here's what to know about the parents and grandparents sponsorship; What to do if you're invited?

Starting July 28, 2025, Canada will invite 17,860 individuals from the 2020 pool of applicants to sponsor their parents or grandparents for permanent residency. The government aims to receive 10,000 complete applications through the Parents and Grandparents Program (PGP). Those not invited can explore the super visa option, allowing extended visits to Canada.
