2025 ILEARN reading scores remain flat for 5th straight year while Indiana math scores improve: Find out how your school fared

Indiana's 2025 ILEARN results show reading scores have remained nearly unchanged for five consecutive years, with 40.6% of students achieving proficiency in English/Language Arts. In contrast, mathematics proficiency rose to 42.1%, marking steady improvement since 2021. Local school corporation data reflect this trend. The state is implementing a redesigned assessment system, including real-time "Checkpoints," in the 2025–2026 academic year. SAT reading scores also improved, while maths proficiency remained largely stable.
