Aditi Chauhan, first Indian woman to play professional football in Europe, retires at 32

Aditi Chauhan, India's pioneering female professional footballer in Europe, has retired at 32 after a 17-year career. The former national team goalkeeper, who represented India 57 times and won three SAFF Championships, aims to develop opportunities for future generations. Chauhan, who played for West Ham United and Gokulam Kerala FC, overcame ACL injuries and societal doubts to achieve consistent success.
