Calcutta HC acquits three on death row for 2014 murder

In a significant turn of events, the Calcutta High Court acquitted three individuals previously sentenced to death for the 2014 murder of a 28-year-old woman. The court cited a lack of conclusive evidence linking the woman's husband, his girlfriend, and an accomplice to the crime. The victim's dismembered body was discovered at Sealdah railway station.
