AI-based facial identification to track sex abusers at railway stations

To curb crimes against women, the Union government informed the Supreme Court about plans to implement AI-based facial recognition at major railway stations, including Mumbai CST and New Delhi, as the National Database on Sexual Offenders crosses 20 lakh entries.
