Viceroy calls semiconductor unit of Vedanta a 'sham op'
Posted
Viceroy Research has accused Anil Agarwal's Vedanta Group of operating its semiconductor unit as a "sham commodities trading operation" to evade NBFC classification. This alleged scheme facilitated Vedanta Ltd's remittance of brand fees to its parent company during a liquidity crisis. Vedanta has refuted these allegations, asserting that all activities of its semiconductor unit are transparent and compliant with regulations.
