Kerala education minister stands firm on school timings despite religious opposition

Kerala Education Minister V Sivankutty has taken a firm stance on school timings. He says religious bodies cannot dictate schedules. The minister clarified that the department had no role in recent adjustments. He cited Kendriya Vidyalayas and Gulf schools as examples. Discussions with school managements are planned. The goal is to meet the required 220 working days.
