103 cities show drop in PM10 levels under clean air programme; Mumbai leads among metros

Good news arrives from the Environment Ministry. Air quality improves across India. A majority of cities under the National Clean Air Programme show lower pollution levels in 2024-25 compared to 2017-18. Mumbai sees the biggest drop among metros. Chennai is the only big city meeting air quality standards.
