Bihar 1st in country to get a cap of 1,200 voters per booth

Bihar is leading the way in electoral reform. The state has reduced the number of voters per polling station to 1,200. This change has increased the number of polling stations by 12,817. The Election Commission will implement this cap across India. The move aims to reduce long queues on polling day.
