Parliament panel for TDS refunds after due date without fine
Posted
A parliamentary panel led by BJP's Baijayant Panda has recommended continuing tax exemptions for anonymous donations to religious-cum-charitable trusts in the new Income Tax Bill, 2025. The committee suggests allowing taxpayers to claim TDS refunds even after the ITR filing deadline without penalties. The report also proposes significant changes to how the bill treats income for non-profit organizations.
