'Milestone moment': Army receives first batch of Apache helicopters from US; to be deployed in Jodhpur

Three AH-64E Apache attack helicopters, part of a Rs 5,691 crore deal with the US, have arrived at Hindon Air Force Station, enhancing the Indian Army's offensive capabilities. These "tanks in the air" will be stationed in Jodhpur, where the Army raised its first Apache squadron. The remaining three Apaches are expected by the end of 2025.
