Law Minister Arjun Ram Meghwal informed the Rajya Sabha that High Court collegiums have not recommended candidates for 193 out of 371 vacant judge positions, representing over 52% of the total vacancies. This revelation came in response to Mallikarjun Kharge's inquiry regarding pending Supreme Court collegium recommendations for High Court judge appointments.
