Major row in Canada as Ontario says it will give its own work permits, won't need federal government's nod

Canada news: Ontario Premier Doug Ford plans to issue work permits to asylum seekers, bypassing the federal government by invoking Section 95 of the Constitution. Ford said Canada's immigration takes years to grant work permits while he has so many healthy people willing to work. The announcement has led to a major row as Canadians fear that Ontario will soon be flooded with cheap labors.
