J&K set to create ripples with ‘hydropower tourism’

Jammu and Kashmir is exploring 'hydropower tourism' by allowing developers to build tourism facilities alongside hydel projects up to 25MW. This initiative, outlined in the Draft Hydro Power Policy, 2025, aims to attract investment and boost local economies.
