HC orders fresh look at hijack convict's early release plea

The Delhi High Court has offered a reprieve to Hari Singh, who is serving a life sentence for hijacking an Indian Airlines flight in 1993. Justice Sanjeev Narula overturned the Sentence Review Board's (SRB) denial of his premature release, citing his reformed conduct in jail over 18 years, devoid of any criminal incidents.
