Bihar's draft poll roll may exclude 66 lakh names: EC
Posté
The Election Commission of India announced a potential exclusion of 6.6 million names from Bihar's draft electoral roll. These exclusions are due to electors registering in other states, being deceased, permanently shifting, or failing to submit required forms. The EC emphasized the "overwhelming participation" in the special intensive revision, with over 72 million forms submitted.
