Congress has criticized BJP's decision to prioritize the Lok Sabha notice regarding Justice Yashwant Varma over the Rajya Sabha notice, alleging it stems from insecurity and a desire to control the narrative. Abhishek Singhvi accused the government of "illegality" and suggested former RS chairman Jagdeep Dhankhar's actions on the Varma issue led to his removal. Singhvi also alleged BJP MPs signed a blank paper, potentially an impeachment notice against Dhankhar.
