Government to overhaul accreditation system, operationalise AI centre

To mark five years of the National Education Policy 2020, the government is set to overhaul higher education accreditation, shifting to a binary 'accredited' or 'not accredited' model. A new 'Bharatiya Bhasha' digital tool will also be launched, facilitating direct translations between Indian languages. Furthermore, the Centre of Excellence in AI in education will be operationalized.
