Starlink to have 20 lakh users in India at most, says government
Posted
Starlink's entry into India's telecom sector is unlikely to pose an immediate threat to existing operators like Jio and Airtel. Constrained by spectrum capacity, the satellite communication provider can only accommodate 2 million connections, offering speeds up to 200 Mbps. While targeting rural areas, its consumer broadband plan is projected to be around ₹3,000 per month.
