How a secret document at Duke Law Journal triggered a national civil rights investigation
Δημοσιευμένα
The US Department of Education has launched a civil rights investigation into Duke University and the Duke Law Journal following reports of a secret grading document allegedly awarding additional points based on race and group affiliation. A joint letter from US officials urges Duke to eliminate unlawful racial preferences in admissions and hiring. The probe could lead to the withdrawal of federal funding if Title VI violations are confirmed. A similar investigation is underway at Harvard.
