NYC shooting: Did gunman Shane Tamura take wrong elevator? Was Blackstone's Wesley LePatner his target?
A shooting at a Manhattan office building left five dead, including Blackstone executive Wesley LePatner and NYPD officer Didarul Islam. The shooter, Shane Tamura, who also died at the scene, had a history of mental illness and left a note blaming the NFL for his condition. The NFL office was believed to be his target but it is on 5th floor while he went to the 33th floor of the Park Avenue office building.
