India, UAE to further enhance bilateral defence ties

India and the UAE are set to deepen defence cooperation, focusing on maritime security through information sharing and joint manufacturing. A MoU was signed between the Indian Coast Guard and the UAE National Guard for enhanced cooperation. Discussions included training, industrial partnerships, and co-development of defence technologies like AI, building upon their strategic partnership established in 2015.
