Posted
Harvard University will hand over I-9 employment verification records for approximately 19,000 employees following a formal request from the US Department of Homeland Security (DHS). The request is part of a broader federal inquiry into employment and immigration compliance at the University. Harvard is also reviewing whether student employment data is protected under FERPA.
