Punjab government is set to launch a drug prevention curriculum in government schools for grades 9-12, starting August 1. Developed with guidance from Prof. Abhijit Banerjee, the program aims to educate students about drug risks and decision-making. Pilot results showed positive attitude changes, complementing the state's ongoing enforcement efforts against drug trafficking.
