Government to make audit of production facilities a must for e-rickshaws manufacturers
Posted
To enhance safety and quality, the government will mandate production facility audits for e-rickshaw and e-cart manufacturers from April next year. Type approval will be granted post-audit by vehicle testing agencies, eliminating assemblers and fly-by-night firms. Fitness certificates will be valid for one year, ensuring proper maintenance and speed limits.
