Assam scholar shines at 28th IPSA World Congress in Seoul

Dr Biswajit Choudhury, Assistant Professor at Handique Girls’ College, Guwahati, represented Assam at the 28th IPSA World Congress in Seoul, South Korea. As panel chair and presenter, he highlighted Northeast India's strategic role in India’s Act East Policy. His paper emphasised regional connectivity and diplomacy. Supported by an ICSSR Travel Grant, Dr Choudhury’s participation elevated Assam’s academic profile and underlined the Northeast’s importance in India’s evolving foreign policy landscape.
