What did Brown University concede to restore US research funding?
Posted
Brown University reached a $50 million settlement with the Trump administration to restore lost federal funding and end three federal investigations. In exchange, the university agreed to adopt federal definitions of gender, remove race-based considerations in admissions, and increase transparency on student data. Brown will also fund local workforce organisations and take steps to address antisemitism on campus. The deal includes no finding of wrongdoing, according to details reported by the Associated Press.
