Bengal govt extends UG admission deadline to August 5 after SC clears WBJEE under revised OBC list

The West Bengal government has extended the UG admission deadline to August 5 following the Supreme Court’s clearance of WBJEE and admissions under the revised OBC list. Students can update their social category details on the centralised portal by midnight. A total of 460 state-run and aided colleges under 17 universities are part of the 2025–26 admission cycle.
