The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) has abruptly suspended the Round 1 choice filling and locking process for NEET UG 2025, leaving thousands of aspirants in limbo. Though no reason was given, a revised schedule is expected soon. Meanwhile, institutions were asked to re-verify vacancies, and 188 candidates were granted NRI status for the ongoing counselling round.
