EC suspends 4 officers for doctoring Bengal poll roll

The Election Commission has taken strict action against West Bengal officials for manipulating the electoral roll. Officers in Baruipur Purba and Moyna constituencies are suspended and face FIRs for adding names without verification and sharing login credentials. This follows reports of similar lapses by other officials.
