Matters pending before judiciary can't be discussed in Parliament: Rijiju on SIR debate
Posté
The government stated in Lok Sabha that matters pending before the judiciary cannot be discussed in the House, responding to opposition demands for a discussion on the SIR exercise in Bihar. Parliamentary Affairs Minister Kiren Rijiju cited a 1988 ruling, emphasizing that the House cannot comment on the Election Commission's actions, as the matter is currently under Supreme Court consideration.
