‘Unbelievable’: Body found almost intact after 28 years in Pakistan's melting glacier - How did it happen?
Posted
In Pakistan's Kohistan region, a shepherd discovered the remarkably preserved body of Naseeruddin, missing since 1997, in a melting glacier. Identified by an ID card, Naseeruddin disappeared after seeking refuge in an icy cave while fleeing attackers with his brother. Reduced snowfall has accelerated glacial melt, exposing the remains after 28 years.
