Gujarat govt to provide infrastructure aid to grant-in-aid schools under Mission School of Excellence 2.0

The Gujarat government has launched Mission School of Excellence 2.0 to provide infrastructure assistance to grant-in-aid secondary and higher secondary schools. Eligible institutions will receive one-time aid of Rs 10 lakh to Rs 1.5 crore on an 80:20 cost-sharing basis. The scheme, aligned with NEP 2020, aims to strengthen school infrastructure and boost enrolment, especially in rural and tribal areas.
