President appoints BHU professor Santanu Kumar Swain as Sikkim University Vice Chancellor

President Droupadi Murmu has appointed BHU professor Santanu Kumar Swain as Vice Chancellor of Sikkim University for a five-year term or until he turns 70. Swain, replacing officiating VC Abhijit Dutta, brings extensive academic experience. The Ministry of Education has notified all concerned authorities about the appointment, seen as significant for the university’s growth in the eastern Himalayas.
