Union Minister Nitin Gadkari announced ambitious plans to award road projects worth Rs 7 lakh crore by FY26, aiming for Rs 10 lakh crore annually thereafter. Despite a recent slowdown, the government has already awarded Rs 2 lakh crore worth of projects this year and targets an additional Rs 5 lakh crore.
