HC rejects Agusta accused plea for release from jail

A Delhi court denied Christian Michel James's request for release in the AgustaWestland VVIP chopper scam, despite his claim of serving the maximum sentence since extradition in 2018. The judge emphasized that the forgery charges under IPC Section 467, which carry a life sentence, prevent considering his time served as the maximum punishment.
