APAAR ID mandatory for CBSE board exams 2026; exam fee hiked and AI-powered centre coming
Posté
CBSE has mandated APAAR ID linkage for students from Classes 9 to 12 starting with the 2026 board exams. It has also announced a hike in exam and registration fees for the academic year 2025–26 across India, Nepal, and foreign countries. Additionally, the board will set up an AI-powered digital experience centre in New Delhi. These changes aim to streamline data management and enhance educational engagement through digital infrastructure, in line with NEP 2020 and Digital India.
