Posted
The CBSE will revise its Legal Studies syllabus for Classes XI and XII to include key legal reforms such as the repeal of triple talaq, the sedition law, and Section 377. The updated curriculum will align with the Bhartiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS), Bhartiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita (BNSS), and Bhartiya Sakshya Adhiniyam (BSA), replacing colonial-era laws. Implementation is scheduled for the 2026–27 academic session, with updated textbooks to be developed by an expert committee.
