CBSE makes green school rating mandatory under SHVR 2025-26: All schools must comply by 30 September

CBSE SHVR 2025-26: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has mandated all affiliated schools to participate in the Swachh Evam Harit Vidyalaya Rating (SHVR) 2025-26 by 30 September 2025. The programme assesses schools on 60 indicators related to cleanliness, water, sanitation, and sustainability through a digital portal and mobile app. Recognition will be awarded at district, state, and national levels based on performance. Participation is compulsory for all schools with a UDISE code.
