The outage, lasting approximately 90 minutes, affected ongoing matches, including those of Taylor Fritz, Lorenzo Sonego, Benjamin Bonzi and Stefanos Tsitsipas. It was later revealed that a generator fire caused the power disruption at the Mason, Ohio tournament.
